Hands wave* from past clients... [picture gallery]

*In American Deaf culture, as visually-oriented, Deaf people ususally wave their handsin the air. This Deaf applause (waving in the air) began in the 1980s.

The Gallaudet University (my alma mater) Museum opened on Oct. 20, 2017 with a new exhibit featuring Deaf Entrepreneurship. I was surprisingly pleased to learn that I would be one of Deaf business owners featured. In the first photo on left, my photo is on the bottom right side. In the second photo on right, the quote reads: "When a designer like myself stands out with a specific niche, I become attractive to similar birds in the flock."

Day to Rejoice Weddings & Events was featured on Daily Moth on June 23, 2017. The Daily Moth delivers news in video using American Sign Language. The deaf host, Alex Abenchuchan, covers trending news stories and deaf topics on new shows Monday-Thursdays. Click here or on the logo on left for full transcript of the video.
